Fariborz Raisdana has been summoned to Evin Prison to serve a one-year sentence. Raisdana was arrested in December 2010 after he was charged with holding interviews with the BBC and Voice of America, accusing Iran’s government of torturing, raping, and abusing prisoners and describing the Islamic Republic’s courts as ‘ordered’ and criticizing the Government’s subsidy reform plan.
