Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili said during the meeting that foreign powers are hatching various plots to undermine the unity and solidarity of the regional nations. “The progress and stability of the region is contingent upon vigilantly passing the fabricated conflicts (staged) by the foreigners such as the Kurd-Arab or the Sunni-Shiite conflicts.” Jalili said strategic bilateral cooperation between Iran and Iraq will improve the stability and prosperity of the region. The Iraqi guest also met with Ali Larijani, the Majlis Speaker.
