NIOC Managing Director: Kharg LNG Project Gaining Momentum

Ahmad Qalebani, Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company, said that ways of implementing the project sooner were reviewed in a meeting held on Kharg Island. Project contractors and operators also attended the meeting. After Ramadan, the project should go ahead according to a schedule that requires more than 3% progress each month. He emphasized the role of the subcontractors in implementation of the project, and said that the main contractors should review their relations with subcontractors in order to resolve their problems. He expressed hope during the year has been named the Year of Supporting Iranian Labor and Capital, the project make a great leap forward.
