Brigadier General Mehdi Mahdavi-Nezhad, Commander of the IRGC’s Ali ibn Abi Talib Unit, said that “Propagation of American Islam is the enemy’s most important plan in the region today… The plan to propagate American Islam faced defeat in Iraq, but today is being pursued and implemented in Syria… The enemy has changed its strategy. It is not trying to eliminate Islam, but has put propagation of American Islam on its agenda. Currently, this plan is being executed inTurkey.”
