In a meeting of the Defense Diplomacy Committee, Ahmad Vahidi underlined that “If Islamic countries form strong and strategic defense unity to defend the causes of Palestine, the Zionist regime will have no choice but to accept the will and demands of the Palestinian nation.” He described unity in the Islamic world and solidarity among Muslims as the most important factors in confronting the “devilish plots hatched by the Quds occupying regime” (Israel). Vahidi stressed that International Quds (Jerusalem) Day is a demonstration of Muslim unity, determination and will to the world. Regarding recent Israeli threats to attack Iran, Ahmad Vahidi said that Israel “Definitely doesn’t have what it takes to endure Iran’s might and will.” He called the Israeli threats “a sign of weakness” by “brainless leaders.”
