FNA will soon launch Russian language service

Editor-in-Chief of Fars News Agency (FNA) Abbas Darvish Tavangar, said that the beginning of Russian service will help boost Iran-Russia interactions in areas of research and media. He expressed the hope that the service would help Iran take a “wide stride” in interactions with scholars and researchers of study centers and those who are active in the field of media in Central Asia and Russia. Tavangar further pointed to the crucial role of the media in Iran-Russia interactions. The conservative, semi-official news agency FNA currently releases news and reports in Farsi, English, Arabic and Turkish and has regional offices in the Middle-East, South Asia, the Central Asia.
