Mehdi Radmanesh, Deputy for Technical and Engineering Iranian Supplying Automotive Parts Co. (SAPCO), said that mass production of the second domestically-produced Iranian car, dubbed “Runna,” would begin in late May or early June. Most of the car (70 percent) is built using domestic technology. Radmanesh said that the corporation is going to design and build more car parts using domestic technology and added that Iran plans to manufacture 1.5 million sedans and export 150,000 of them, by 2025. He noted that 16 top, foreign corporations from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, South Korea and China attended the Iranian Dies and Tools International Exhibition. 16 foreign top corporations from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, South Korea and China have attended the Iranian Dies and Tools International Exhibition.
