Oil Minister: Iran’s oil output to increase by 1.5 million bpd by 2016

Rostam Ghasemi said Iran’s oil output will increase by 1.5 million barrels per day (bpd) by 2016 and that that the daily gas output is projected to rise by 1.47 billion cubic meters by the end of fifth five year development plan in 2015. Ghasmi stated that

Iran has set a record in building refineries by relying on Iranian forces (experts…Tehran has no concern about its technical needs and is capable of building whatever its oil industry needs.)
