Vice-president of Science and Technology Nasrin Soltankhah announced a two-fold increase in marital gifts to highly talented students. The talented students currently receive $407 gift, and this figure will rise to $ 815 in the next Iranian year (starting on March 21,2013). She added the students will also receive a gift for the birth of their first child and that talented married students who are completing their complementary education and cannot afford a loan and its installments can benefit from a house loan endowment. The house loan endowment in Tehran and other big cities is over 20,000 dollars but less in other cities where rent is less expensive.
