Ambassador to the IAEA: IAEA’S last report on Iran’s nuclear activities “positive”

Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, said that the IAEA chief’s latest report “showed Tehran’s progress in nuclear technology, including enrichment, as well as its complete cooperation with the agency. The 11-page report that relates to the complete inspection report of 16 nuclear centers and 10 secondary sites proves the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities… Amano’s recent visit to Tehran was an important element of the efforts of Iranian officials to acquire the trust of the IAEA and answer the inspector’s questions… Iran has produced 6,197 kilograms of 5% uranium and 145.6 kilograms of 20% uranium under IAEA supervision.”
