Child rights activist arrested

Last weekend, security forces arrested Ms. Basime Kamjoo, a child rights activist and a member of the Baha’i minority in Gheshm. They conducted a search of her home and confiscated personal belongings including her computer, camera, books and discs. It is not known where she is being held and her husband’s efforts to obtain information have been unsuccessful.
