Iran and Venezuela to sign a USD 2 billion oil contract

After six years of negotiations, Iran and Venezuela will soon sign a new contract to develop a block of the Dobokubi oil field in Venezuela. According to the contract to be signed between national oil companies of the two countries, Iran’s share of the investment in the oil field will be 26% and in Venezuela will invest 74%. The contract will last for 25 years, and Iran’s investment will total close to USD 520 million.
