At a ceremony marking the completion of repairs to the heavy submarine Tareq and its launch, Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari emphasized that there are very few countries in the world with the ability to overhaul and thoroughly renovate submarines on this level, and Iran is one of them. He also reported that there has been significant progress on the project to produce additional naval vessels, including Peykan-class missile boats (known as the Sina Project) and Jamaran-class destroyers (known as the Moj Projects).
