Demonstrations and arrests in Ahvaz following execution of local Iranian-Arabs

At least fifteen citizens were arrested at protests over the weekend in the city of Ahvaz, where most residents belong to the Arab Sunni minority. The demonstrations followed the execution of four Iranian-Arab prisoners in the city. According to the reports, the execution prompted widespread protest in the city, and at least fifteen local people were arrested.
