IRCS builds two medical centers in Bolivia and Tanzania; plans to set up center in Libya

Head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, Abolhasan Faqih, said that “Iran’s Red Crescent Society operates 29 medical centers in different countries and has inaugurated two new medical centers in Bolivia and Tanzania in recent weeks.” He met in Tehran with visiting Red Cross officials. Abolhasan Faqih added, “A delegation has also been sent to Libya to inaugurate Iran’s Red Crescent Society’s first rehabilitation center in Benghazi. IRCS has extended activities into Afghanistan and Pakistan as well, and we have three clinics in Afghanistan and an office in Pakistan.” The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
