Price of mineral water in Iranian market increases

As a first measure, the number of half-liter bottles of water that are distributed and sold at the previous price of 250 toman (USD 0.20) was reduced by 40%. At the same time, there were numerous reports of mineral water imported from Georgia, provoking surprise among citizens. Last year as well, several Georgian companies tried to export mineral water to Iran, but their attempts were prevented by regulations, especially given that several Iranian companies produce mineral water and even export their products overseas.
