Iran will not negotiate with G5+1 in countries supporting sanctions

Thursday, 27 December 2012

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that “No agreement has been reached on the venue of the negotiations; Istanbul might be an option, but we will not negotiate with the Westerners in countries that have embargoed us.” Boroujerdi described removal of the sanctions against Iran as a requirement that must considered for Iran’s talks with the world powers, and said, “If such an approach is considered as the basis (of talks), we will be able to come close to an understanding… The G5+1 should use past experience and act upon it, because they will not obtain results if they don’t act pragmatically.”
