On the fourth day of the Iranian navy’s drill, Velayat 91, the navy fired a Nasr short-range cruise missile. According to official reports, the launch was a success. Nasr -1 missiles are capable of destroying 3,000-ton vessels and can be launched from both ships and on land. Once the missile’s tactile capabilities are improved, they can be also launched from helicopters and submarines. The Raad surface-to-air missile was also successfully launched. The missile, upgraded by Iranian experts in the organization and through naval research, was installed on the ship.
