85-year-old Baha’i prisoner not allowed to talk or meet with family members

Those responsible at Birjand prison banned meetings and phone calls for Mohammed Hussein Nahaii, an 85-year-old Bahai prisoner who has been detained in Birjand prison for several months, and no reason has been given. He needs constant medical care due to his advanced age, and this is a serious concern for his family. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment and three years of probation for propaganda against the regime and belief in the Baha’i faith.
