Fars News Agency reported that despite sanctions, the volume of Iran’s foreign trade in the first nine months was USD 72 billion, while exports stood at USD 31.7 billion and imports at USD 40.05 million. According to this statistic, this represents a 10.5% decline in imports relative to the corresponding period the previous year. Most of the imports were from the UAE, China, Turkey, Korea and Switzerland, and most of the exports were to Iraq, China, UAE, Afghanistan and India, in that order.
