Businesses selling products that “violate Islamic cultural values” shut down

Alireza Honardoust, commander of the police unit that regulates public sites and buildings in the internal security forces in East Azerbaijan, announced that as part of the campaign to collect anti-cultural products, 41 business in the province were shut down for selling products that violate Islamic values and culture. During the campaign, inspections were conducted in 272 businesses that provide computer services, cell phone services, cafes, etc. The campaign also involved the confiscation of numerous films and photos as well as computer packages that contained immoral content that violate Islamic values.
