Time, venue for Iran 5+1 nuclear talk not finalized yet

Tuesday, 15 January 2013

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that “Iran’s nuclear talks are conducted  in two respects: the technical aspect between Iran’s representatives and the IAEA during which “various rounds of talks have been held and discussion with the 5+1 countries  which seems to have gone beyond the technical and legal framework… If they wanted to talk to us about technical aspects, we were ready to follow up technical discussions. Legally speaking, we believe that we have a right to peaceful (nuclear) activities. (But) It seems that they want to enter into talks from a political perspective. If so, the best solution for them would be to recognize our rights and give up their futile pressures. They think that the pressures can help them achieve their goals. The time and venue of the meeting has not yet been finalized.”
