Monday, 4 February 2013

  • The Syrian regime is at the forefront of the fight against Zionist aggression – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Saeed Jalili, visited Syria over the weekend and declared Iran’s full support of Bashar Assad’s regime. Jalili announced that Iran was expressing its full support of the Syrian regime so that it can remain strong against imperialist plots. He condemned the recent air assault by the Zionist regime (Israel) in Syria and stressed that the Syrian regime is a pioneer of the fight against Zionist aggression and that the Arab and Muslim world must channel its efforts towards supporting the Syrian people.
  • Syrian reaction to recent attack will put Israel in a coma – The Armed Forces General Staff Deputy for Basij and Defense Culture Affairs, Masoud Jazayeri discussed what he called the invasive attack of Zionist regime’s combat aircraft against a research center in Damascus. He added that according to reports, “There is currently a tense atmosphere in the occupied lands (Israel), and Jews are counting down to their exit from Palestine.” Jazayeri said that Islamic resistance expects a reciprocal move by Syria, and the US and the Zionist regime thoroughly understand that Syrian self-restraint has limits. According to Jazayeri, the Zionist regime and imperialism are on the verge of collapse, and the Syrian response to the latest attack will put the Zionist regime in a complete coma.
