Tuesday, 5 February 2013

Head of the Operations Division of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Command, Amir Shahrokh Shahram, discussed threats made by the US and the Zionist regime (Israel), stressing that defense of the nuclear facilities is part of the Command’s special and unique assignments. “Our forces defend these facilities extraordinarily. Our defense capability has reached a point that the country’s vital centers, and particularly the nuclear facilities, cannot be fully and completely infiltrated or disrupted. We learned this during the various drills and maneuvers that involved various weapons and tactics.” Referring to the deployment of Patriot missiles in Turkey, Shahram said that this is being done to intimidate Iran, and Iran senses no danger in this area. He clarified that you can be sure that if these measures pose a threat to Iran, the Air Defense has plans to resolve each scenario.
