Electricity sector calls on President to streamline government activity

Thursday, 7 March 2013

The Iran Electrical Industry Association sent a letter to President Ahmadinejad that discussed the problems of the private sector in Iran’s electricity industries. The letter stated, “Unfortunately, due to current circumstances in the country, numerous problems and difficulties have arisen in electricity production and in employment in various sectors. The government must act more efficiently than in the past to create economic stability and calm, as was the case prior to sanctions and prove that the sanctions cannot harm our nation or inhibit our progress.”
