Monday, 25 March 2013

Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, Ahmadinejad’s ally and a possible candidate in June’s presidential election, has expressed his hope that the next government continue on Ahmadinejad’s two-term path. He criticized State broadcast IRIB for supporting for certain candidates — a likely reference to the 2+1 coalition, backed by the Supreme Leader, seeking a “unity” choice for June.
