Iran’s new ambassador to Turkey submits credentials to Turkish President

Abdullah Gul Alireza Bigdeli lauded the close ties between Iran and Turkey, and stressed that the relations between the neighboring countries are moving in right direction. He expressed hope to be able to accelerate the move to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries. He added that the Turkish President had said that bilateral trade exchange volume reached USD 22 billion last year, and “We hope it can reach USD 35 billion.”
