Intelligence minister meets Iraqi VP and ISCI Leader

Heydar Moslehi said that Iran is willing to help Iraq restore security and enable its fight against terrorism. Moslehi insisted that the issue of expelling the members of Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, is on of the main armed opposition groups to the Iranian Islamic Republic) needs to be “pursued firmly… We are determined to remove this group from inside Iraq. With the coordination that has been carried out, this group will soon be removed.” Moslehi also met with the speaker of the Iraqi parliament and Omar al-Hakim, leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI).
