Islamic Google Earth to be launched within four months

Thursday, 11 April 2013

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Nami, announced that the Islamic Google Earth service, to be known as Basir, would be launched within four months and would be operated within the Iranian national site. According to Nami, in contrast with Google Earth, which is used by intelligence and security services around the world, the Iranian service would have an Islamic perspective and be designed to generate orientation for citizens around the world regarding reality and the truth. According to Nami, the West’s criteria are material, while Iran’s are divine, and this is the difference between Basir and Google Earth, which belongs to the evil trio of the Zionist-US-British regime.
