According to reports, the worker, Majid P., who was a contract worker with Iran Railways, arrived at the company’s offices and hanged himself in an outer building. Thirty-year-old Majid was dismissed from his place of work several months ago, and reports say that he left a suicide note with an appeal to the company directors. His colleagues stated that he had apparently taken his own life because of difficult economic circumstances and mental strain caused by unemployment.
