Relations with Egypt will have to wait

Monday, 15 April 2013

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman said, “It must be realized that situation in Egypt is not fully stable, controlled and managed. The people of Egypt are seeking to create a situation in which they can be ruled democratically. In any case, we hope that Egypt will be stabilized as soon as possible. A democratic government will rule, and we will witness the power of this influential country in the region… If we want Iranian-Egyptian relations to be official and reach the desired level, we have to wait.”
