Iran holds talks with OPEC members on oil prices

Alireza Nikzad Rahbar, Oil Ministry Spokesman, said that “Negotiations and consultations have begun with OPEC members, and it is likely that the members will be able to reach an agreement without convening an extraordinary meeting.” He added that OPEC members are all unanimous on prices at USD 100 per barrel or higher. Nikzad Rahbar said, “Iran’s current crude oil production capacity stands at 4.2 million barrels per day, and we are supplying as much oil as the global market needs.”
