Iran, India to hold joint economic meeting

Ambassador to India, Gholamreza Ansari, said that Iran and India plan to hold a joint economic meeting in Tehran next week. Ansari added that Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi would head Iran’s delegation, while his Indian counterpart, Salman Khorshid, would lead the Indian delegation. He added, “About six memoranda of understanding in various economic sectors are being prepared, and we hope they will be signed by both sides during the joint meeting.”
