Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called in a meeting with members of the follow-up committee on Syrian national dialogue in Tehran for an end to the “dangerous arming of irresponsible groups in Syria.” Amir-Abdollahian expressed hope that representatives of the Syrian people and opposition would attend the comprehensive national dialogue which the committee plans to hold in the near future. The Committee on Syrian National Dialogue is comprised of representatives of the opposition, members of the People’s Assembly and independent figures.
