Communications Minister: Iran among five most advanced countries in cyberspace protection

Mohammad Hassan Nami announced that Iran is among the five most advanced countries in cyberspace defense, in both the scientific and performance areas, and in anti-virus protection that protect from viruses created by the superpowers. Nami addressed the tremendous amount of capital invested in creating viruses against Iran and said that happily, Iran has strong defense capabilities, something even admitted by some of the aggressor countries. He expressed a lack of knowledge regarding the number of cyberattacks against Iran every day and said, “I don’t know the exact number, but we have demonstrated good defense capabilities, and we are considered the fifth or sixth top country in terms of cyberspace protection.”
