Fars News lists Ministry of Intelligence’s domestic and international achievements

In honor of Mid-Sha’ban, the Mahdi’s birthday (members of the Intelligence Ministry are called the hidden soldiers of the Mahdi), conservative news agency Fars has listed some of the operations and successes of the Intelligence Ministry and its nameless soldiers of the Islamic Revolution:

Protecting the national interests and assets and preventing the unjustified transfer of assets abroad, fighting separatists, anti-revolutionaries, groups of terrorists, fighting the terrorist cells of the Mossad, the Munafiqeen (Mujahedeen-e Khalq), monitoring Taliban and al-Qaeda activities, identifying the assassins of nuclear scientists, shooting down the American UAV, regulating cyberspace activities and riots that followed the previous elections, monitoring the movement of opponents to the regime overseas and in Iran, identifying and disclosing corrupt networks in the economic sector, arrest of Abdolmajid Rigi (commander of the Jundallah forces), operations that ensured security in various provinces, particularly during the election period, protecting scientific and nuclear achievements and arrest of the assassins of the nuclear scientists,  confronting those who tried to disrupt the foreign currency and gold market, assistance to reduce the impact of the sanctions on citizens, fight against soft warfare, fight against the fitna current (protest movement following the June 2009 elections), among other things, by identifying the leaders of the movement and cutting them off from their foreign ties, fight against deviant groups and cults, fight against criminal drug organizations, fight against the enemy’s plot to create a rift between the Shiites and Sunnis.
