Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani, director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), said that one of the goals of participating in the ATOMEXPO 2013 International Industry Forum in Russia is to present Iran as an exporter of nuclear technology and industry. “We can present our nuclear fuel and the complete fuel cycle achievements to other countries in the forum. We can (also) invite other countries to use Iran’s technology, especially those countries possessing uranium resources. They can use Iran’s technology in their counties to increase the value of their product. We are ready to cooperate with others… We have had good achievements in designing and manufacturing of light water pool-type reactors and low-power heavy water reactors. We can offer our achievements to others. Iran has made some steps in designing and manufacturing of middle-power and high-power reactors and we can offer our designing achievements to others too.” Behzad Soltani, adviser to Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said that the organization has entered into the phase of commerce, demonstrating its technical and scientific achievements at the ATOMEXPO 2013 in St. Petersburg. Soltani added that Iran has for the first time entered at the international Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power of the 21st Century at Saint Petersburg and displayed capabilities and achievements in the field of nuclear technology. He said that Iranian scientists successfully indicated Iran’s ability in processing uranium from yellowcake to upper levels. He added that that the exhibition was a good opportunity for Iran to welcome those interested in purchase Iranian nuclear technology and that Iran can export its products with the most competitive prices at the world market. AEOI’s deputy and managing director for construction of nuclear power plants in Iran, Mohammad Ahmadian, said Iran’s presence at the international event fully demonstrates its capabilities in the field and provided Iranian (nuclear) scientists and experts to demonstrate their ability in designing and building nuclear power plants. Head of Iran’s nuclear immunity organization, Naser Rastkhah, termed the exhibition as a suitable opportunity for Iranian experts to prove their loyalty to the issue of immunity in dealing with nuclear science.
