FM suggests that US learn from history and end its sanctions policy

Ali Akbar Salehi referred to the imposition of the new and unilateral sanctions by the US and said that this “illogical” act by the US is precisely a continuation of the previous process it took. Salehi added that enforcement of such sanctions entails use of methods from the past and threats. This method has been implemented now for 34 years and, to date, has led nowhere. Salehi continued, “We recommend that the Americans learn from history and move towards negotiations with the Iranian people.”
