China not paying Iran in cash for oil, forced it to buy Chinese equipment at higher prices

Ami Jafarpur, Iran’s Transportation and Fuel Headquarters Management official, said, “A lot of money remained to be paid by China for oil purchases, and the Chinese did not consider it possible to pay in cash. They had set a condition for this money to be paid through the sale of equipment to us at prices higher than those existing in the region. Thus, one of the reasons for buying 315 (train) coaches was to get back our money blocked there, and the Chinese got the interest fees from our money as well.
