Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces: “The Israeli regime is doomed to destruction”

Thursday, 1 August 2013

Seyyed Masoud Jazayeri said ahead of Quds Day, “Despite the difficult and complex crisis (in the region), it will not take long for that fake and occupying Zionist regime (Israel) to face collapse.” Jazayeri added that the survival of the Zionist regime (Israel) was not due to its own strength and power, but was rather the result of the “extreme weakness of Arab countries… If Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries involved in the Palestinian issue were even slightly democratic states, they would have put an end to the existence of Israel many years ago. Shameful (Israeli) failures against Hezbollah and Hamas in recent years reveal the true nature of this puppet regime. If other Arab countries of the region acted like Lebanon, Israel would no longer exist… Everyone knows that the occupying Zionist regime exists thanks to the broad support it receives from America and some Western countries, as well as thanks to the support of global Zionism. However, if there is unity among countries of the region, America cannot do anything, and Palestine will be returned to the Palestinians… At the moment, the occupiers of holy Quds (Jerusalem) have trapped themselves in a small area. If people from the region and from freedom-seeking societies around the world acquire the necessary will, Israel will be destroyed from within… Quds Day has turned into a symbol of global unity against Zionism. The more time passes, the stronger the pillars of this symbol become. America and the Zionists have no other choice but to eventually accept the reality of failure against the global united will.”
