New head of Supreme Audit Court appointed

Judiciary Chief Sadeq Amoli Larijani has appointed Naser Seraj, the judge presiding over the country’s USD 3 billion bank embezzlement case, to head the Supreme Audit Court. Seraj is the judge presiding over the USD 3 billion bank embezzlement case and over the case of Mehdi Hashemi, the son of the Expediency Council’s Chairman Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
