India lifts barriers from Iranian oil imports

Indian media has reported that oil refineries that import oil from Iran can begin again from the next calendar month to use for insurance coverage issued by the government. Oil refineries in India have stopped or limited oil imports from Iran due to the lack of coverage and insurance problems. According to the report,India’s Minister of Finance announced that the Indian government was prepared in several weeks to operate the energy insurance fund that will be partially financed by the government insurance companies and would grant insurance to oil refineries to import oil from Iran.
