18 people convicted drug smugglers executed in recent days

Iranian Human Right News Agency (HRANA) reported  that “A total of 18 prisoners convicted of drug smuggling were executed in Alborz, Lorestan, Mazandaran, Qazvin and Gilan provinces during the past days,” Amnesty international reported earlier this month that “Iran hangs 40 people in two weeks amid surge in executions”
