According to reports, prison guard forces at Rajai Shahr Prison broke into the political prisoner wing, conducted widespread, brutal searches accompanied by verbal violence against the political prisoners. In addition, the political prisoner library was closed. In protest of the restrictions and pressures, as well as due to renewed disruption of communication and the mandate to wear prisoner uniforms to hospitals, the political prisoners launched a three-day hunger strike. They have refused to accept meals, and during the break, called out slogans against the situation.
