Iran’s Statistical Centre announced that the inflation rate for the 12-month period ended the tenth Iranian calendar month of Dey (21 December 2013) hit 35%, a 0.5% drop compared to the previous month. The point-to-point inflation rate hit 27.5%. In November 2013, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said his government plans to decrease the inflation rate to below 25% by the end of the next Iranian calendar year 1393 (20 March 2015).
Inflation remains steady at 35%
