Russian ambassador in Tehran: competition over Iran’s oil market increasing

In a newspaper interview, Levan Dzhagaryan claims that Russian oil company activity in Iran, and the possibility of acquiring crude oil from Iran is sparking tremendous concern among other nations, particularly the United States. According to Dzhagaryan, the gradual solution to Iran’s nuclear issues has increased the rivalry over the Iranian energy market. Russia does not want to be left behind, and development of Russian cooperation with Iran is sparking concern in the US.
