Mohammadreza Bigdeli rejected reports carried by a Turkish newspaper that Iran has promised the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) logistical and arms support if they withdraw from peace talks with the Turkish government. He said Iran believed the issue of PKK possessing arms or not is not a topic generated from within the region, but is promoted by foreign countries to make most of the regional countries’ situations to increase their own influence in the region.
