Criticism on exploitation of World Cup celebrations, which were immodest and immoral, and the silence of the security forces

Mashhad’s Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Alamolhoda, said that diplomacy in sports is what led our football team to advance to the World Cup. This is an honor for Islam. This is pride of the regime. This is a strong movement against the enemy that wants to isolate us. The celebrations belong to Islam, to the regime and to the Supreme Leader, as well as to the young people who have made us proud. The victory is that of Islam, of the regime. However, there are those who want to assume responsibility for this victory of Islam. On the other hand, another group comes in the Islamic celebration of a victory by Islam and the regime and opens up a channel of immodesty and immorality. This hurts. Islam has won. This advancement to the World Cup is the regime’s victory and you are coming into the streets and claiming Islam’s victory with immoral, corrupt behavior. Unfortunately, the responsible forces have become sideline observers and have failed to assume responsibility.
