Head of Iran’s Aerospace Organization said launching of Fajr, Navid and Zafar satellites will take place on schedule

Hamid Fazeli, who participated in the UN-sponsored Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development said that despite the sanctions imposed on Iran for over three decades, the responsible and specialist Iranian scientists have achieved the technical and scientific know-how to design, manufacture and launch various types of research satellites… Navid was the last satellite launched successfully into space and it has thus far accomplished all of its scheduled missions.” Fazeli said, “Iran’s Aerospace Organization intends to send more biological parcels into space on Iranian satellite carriers to survey the status of living species in space.” He described the Fajr satellite as a “spectacular technological achievement,” which takes advantage of a cold gas propeller would begin to maneuver in its scheduled orbit at some 370 to 400 kilometers distance from the earth.”
