Friday, 12 April 2013

Despite numerous requests by his family and despite promises for leave for the holiday, authorities are again preventing the prisoner from leaving and have refused to explain their decision. In addition, for the past 18 months, Dalirasani has been prevented from meeting his family face to face due to his signing various statements. Amir is a member of the Combative Muslim Movement and a representative of the movement in the committee that reviews illegal arrests, and was sentenced to four years in prison on charges of harming national security.
